Approximately one month before her first birthday, Bhutto, my pet fish passed away today. Last time I saw her, she was weak. I took her into my hands, tried to see if I can help her eat something but we both knew this was ending. She didn't move, laid back and I saw death through her eyes. Today, when I was coming to office, my friend and office mate called me and said she has passed away.

She was the only pet fish I loved. It was love at first sight. That was the day Benazir Bhutto passed away. As I was walking down the road I saw this beautiful orange and white patterned small goldfish swimming in a pet shop tank, as if looking for a way out of the crowded tank. I went in and looked at her and I fell in love. I bought her, bought her a glass vessel and took her to office. Why I took her to office instead of home was, I spend most of my day at office and I wanted to spend time with her as much as possible. I did. And she grew friendlier by every passing day. Within three days, she had learned "the knock" in her pot means food.
There were times when I had to go away from her, to work in the atolls and I would regularly call and check on her. I should thank my office mates for taking care of her for months, when I was gone. They all loved her.

But now, she is no more. I bought a lot of other goldfishes and a new set up for them. Meanwhile, during her days, Bhutto influenced others in my office to have pet fishes. Many fishes find home in our office environment today. Bhutto was such a special fish. She meant so much to me. She will always be in my heart. May her soul rest in peace!

Painting is back _ hopefully!
@ Monday, 17. Nov, 2008 – 18:49:35
Its been a long LONG time since I haven't painted something completely. I thought I must have lost the touch already. but then, when I tried to paint a landscape (for the first time - since i am in to portraits ever since ) I knew I still have it in me. I knew it turned out quite well when my office mates started marveling at what I was painting. ( Well, the people who marveled were the people who didn't do paintings and there were some people who gave me ideas on how to improve the look of it ). And right now i think its enough an introduction about the painting, so I hereby present you my newest and first landscape digital painting.

Well, it actually was a desert. but then I thought of altering the look to make it more vivid, ultimately turning it into a sea with moss green mountains. I believe it worked pretty well either way except for it look kinda Windows Xp Bliss in the latter one. Anyways, I hope to bring more paintings more often, if i get time for it.
Bye for now and please visit again! Thanks

Its been a little while since I wanted to share you guys about my pets. I shared about my previous pets in other blogs of mine which I post no longer. And I want to introduce you Miss Bhutto...

Shes a Gold Fish. A small species of goldfish. I dunno how old she is. But shes gonna celebrate her first birthday with me very soon. On 27th of december. And there comes how she got her name. I bought her the day a very famous Pakistani politician called Benazir Bhutto was assassinated! Since I work in a broadcasting News station, Bhutto became HOT NEWS for days after her death. Thats when I decided to name my pet after her. Well, here are more pics of her.

Oh! By the way, I dont even know If its a female or male. I just like to refer my pets as "girls". hehe! -
