1st of the Arabic month "Rabeeul Awwal" (Beginning of Spring) was the day, a spring began in Maldives. Freedom from the ruthless Portuguese who enslaved the people of Maldives for 15 years and 6 months.

Portuguese enslaved Maldives, after martyring Sultan Ali, on the 19th of May 1558. Maldivian history proves the Portuguese treated the Maldivians inhumane. In fact they tried to enforce Christianity to the nation while everyone had willingly chosen Islam. They announced to kill anyone who doesn't embrace Christianity by the sunrise of the 1st of Rabeeul Awwal. Of course they did not have an idea Allah Almighty, the best planner of all, had another plan to save the the nation and glorify Islam.

It was the day a Hero was born! Sultan Mohammad Thakurufan Al A'zam, along with the two loyal brothers, came to the capital city in the darkness of night and attacked the Portuguese intruders and killed their leaders. Mohammad Thakurufaan himself killed the leader of the Portuguese force nicknamed "Andhiri Andhirin", meaning "Dark Darkness". It was the dawn of 1st of Rabeeul Awwal, 2nd of July 1573.

One Plan, One Bullet, One Hero on One Blissful day brought us the Independence we rejoice till today! Till then, we celebrate the day as our National day. May Allah Almighty protect this nation from our enemies and glorify Islam for ever and ever! Amen!

wow! Its' been long since i been waiting for a sensual love story movie. Ordinary people; extra ordinary love stories is a concept that I believe will always have an audience. Many directors fail at presenting multi-cast multi-story movies. But this movies' got something special. I cant tell but something tells me this is gonna be that sensible, normal yet extraordinary tale of ordinary people. New York, I cant wait!

Its been months since I did a live presentation on TV. Ever since I screwed a live show with my co-host Zihu, I been keeping myself away from live screen. And every passing day, I have to say was growing my guilt and frustrations about how careless and unprofessional I was to yell at myself "what the hell was that!?!", on-air, at the end of the show!
Today, when the morning news anchor didnt show up, the producer decided to put me on-air with of course a request by myself to do the news. I been avoiding going on-air live and didnt have any plans to do it untill this morning when it suddenly hit me may be I gotta prove myself again! So I DID.
At the end of the show I got an inexplicable feeling of satisfaction. NOT because I did a live news on TV but because I felt like I mended the damage I did about six months ago!
