Good Lord! I never actually believed people could be having an anger for more than one or two hours at maximum. Cos as far as my bio knowledge is concerned anger is the result of some hormone and hormones get discharged quickly. Damn! I must have been really high on that today, cos I was (still am kinda) angry continuously for more than 12 hours!
Got up in the morning (kinda noon at 12) to see a "good morning" text message from my direct boss mentioning the other boss who is above him and the top boss who is above it all wants me to "finish by the evening" a certain report I was working on for two days. (I was going to get my expert interviews today). I got SO MAD at once I still don't know why since bosses itching your ass is a norm here. (and everywhere i bet). I bathed, had a coffee and on my way the secretary called and said I am to attend some crappy press conference. I said No. Cos I knew I had so many deadlines to meet and so many work to finish today itself. When I entered office the secretary started bugging me saying the "event" was assigned for me that I have to send another journalist if I cant attend. Wheres the editorial? (Gawsh! I knew I will go into so much detail if I started on this)
Okay! So I got it all set. By the time my mind was already on a storm. And when I started to contact the "experts" regarding my report, he switched off his cell. Good thing I did my homework, I knew an environmentalist from UK who was involved in this issue i was making the report on. I got his number from the net and called him, got a phone interview.
I felt like a achiever until the "top of it all" saw me downstairs having a cigarette and asked me if I got the audience clapping video footage! "Im sorry the clapping of what? who where?"
God DAMN! Some BIG GUY got time to google some shit and saw some video regarding the report im making. Now im to find that specific scene out of lord Almighty knows how many websites existing on the WORLD WIDE WEB! I ran! got three point something hours to get the video hating every inch of Adobe for not letting users save Flash videos, to get that specific "clapping scene!" God! I felt like clapping somewhere in between a nasty spot! And when I finally handed over everything to the slug video editor newbie freak, he took more than one whole hour to edit a 4 minute report! the news was already on-air! I ran to the producer and begged him to include it somewhere on the bulletin and goooood lord, a person need to spend one day with him to understand how much he nags and bitches on silly shit! He said something like "Its already going to the international news... how am i supposed to !@#@ $!! baa baa baa!" I didn't listen. It got aired before the weather segment. I dont care.
Ok now I got more things to do than before. I cant sleep tonight. Cos if I sleep I cant meet the tomorrow deadline. Or I cant prepare for the morning talk show news segment. Fuck it all! Journalism consumes your balls!
All this time I been fuming in anger. (not just frustrations). just PURREE ANGERRRRR!!! Is killing legal in any circumstances?! I feel thirsty!
