Last night I couldn't sleep well. Partially due to the expectations to see the longest complete solar eclipse of the 21st century and also partially due to the concern about my family (living in my homeland) who were terrified to hear the Earthquake-tsunami bogus regarding this event. I alarmed my clock for two reasons. I wanted to be prepared, or say awake when the earthquake happens plus I wanted to see the historic eclipse. I got up at 5.45 and went to see the sun rise. And Behold! the sight was SPECTACULAR! We only saw a partial eclipse for 30 minutes. However it must be one of the most beautiful things I ever saw in my life. Here is a pic.
